Lillian M. Buxton-Ayotte, age 92 of Hazel Park, Michigan passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 16, 2017 at her home. She was born on July 31, 1924 in Wheeling, West Virginia to Noah and Helene LaHood.
Lillian was the beloved wife of the late James Buxton and the late Louis Ayotte. Dear mother of Diane (George) Adair, Karen Miller, Nancy (Serge) Buxton-Colombeau, Linda Buxton and James Buxton. Grandmother of Gary, Thomas, Jamie, Carrie, Sabina and Forest. Great-Grandmother of Ian, Noah, Conner, Helena, Jacob and Lillian. Sister of Alice Lundgren and Louise Saad.
Visitation Monday 3 pm to 9 pm, Rosary 7:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 23919 John R. Road, Hazel Park. Funeral Tuesday 10:30 am Instate, 11:00 am Mass at St. Mary Magdalen Church, Hazel Park. Burial Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Detroit.
