Lester Baker's Obituary
Lester Baker, age 90, a resident of Hazel Park since 1952 passed away January 24, 2015. He was born April 13, 1924 in Twila, KY.
Beloved husband of Shirley. Dear father of Douglas (Linda) Baker and Paul (Kim) Baker. Grandfather of Kate and James Baker. Great Grandfather of Mackenzie and Ashlynn. Brother of Grant Simpson.
He retired from the Cross Company in 1986. Lester enjoyed his 1956 Oldsmobile. He served in the U.S. Army in the Pacific Asiatic Campaign during WWII. Lifetime member of the DAV and the NRA.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 30, 2015 from 3pm until the time of services at 7pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, Madison Heights Chapel. Burial at Christian Memorial Cemetery, Rochester Hills, MI.
