Leroy C. Young, age 70, a resident for over 35 years of Hazel Park, Michigan passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, Detroit, Michigan. He was born Wednesday, June 30, 1943 in Hazel Park, Michigan.
He served in the U. S. Army from 1959 to 1963. He enjoyed repairing guns, camping, boating and fishing.
Father of Clarence Young, Kenneth (Terri) Young, Rita LaSoto, and Whitney Sullivan. Grandfather of 10.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 16th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Funeral Service on Wednesday, July 17th at 11:00 am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 23919 John R. Road, Hazel Park, Michigan. Burial will take place at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint, Michigan.
