Leonard C. Zazula's Obituary
Leonard Zazula, age 86, 15 year resident of Troy, formerly of Hamtramck and Detroit, passed on October 30, 2015. He was born and raised in Hamtramck on September 16, 1929 to Michael and Frances Zazula.
Beloved husband of Jeanette. Proud father of Deborah (Tom) Nelson and Lenn (Sandra) Zazula. Loving grandfather of 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Brother of Bernard (Shirley) and the late Angeline (Stanley), Marion (Vicki), Ceclia (Joe), Domenic (Genevive), Emil, and Sophie (George).
He retired in 1995 from Greer Steel Company, Ferndale. Leonard was an Emeritus Chaplain for the 82nd Airborne for over 30 years. Member Allied War Veterans Ritual Team and numerous other organizations.
Visitation Sunday from 2 to 9 pm, 82nd Airborne Service 6 pm. Funeral service Monday at noon, Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R Road, Madison Heights, MI 48071.
