Lawrence Klepack's Obituary
Lawrence J. Klepack, age 92 of Royal Oak, passed away December 6, 2012. He was born April 17, 1920 in Hanover, Il. Beloved husband of the late Theresa (2011). Loving father of Patricia (Larry) Linkous, Michael (Carol) Klepack, Margaret (Larry) Engel, Daniel (Lindy) Klepack, and Frances (Wayne) Lay. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, brother Edward (Joyce) Klepack, and sister in law Shirley Klepack. He served in the 1st Division, U.S. Army during WWII, seeing action in both Europe and Africa, and took part in the Landing at Omaha Beach. He belonged to V.F.W. Post 1669 in Royal Oak, and enjoyed hunting, boating, and fishing. Visitation Monday 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights. The funeral will be Tuesday at St. Mary Magdalen Church, Hazel Park with visitation at 10:30 am followed by an 11:00 am Mass. Burial in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy.
