Lavera Knapp's Obituary
LAVERA G. KNAPP, age 74, of Hazel Park, died Friday, February 6, 2009, at St. John Oakland Hospital, Madison Heights. She was born January 9, 1935, in Hillman, Michigan. Surviving are her children, Gary (Mary) Knapp, Debbie Brock, Pam (Randy) Miller, Michelle (Joe) Marcinko, Bryan Knapp; daughter-in-law Tina Knapp; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister MaryAnn Dack; and sister-in-law Lera Ristum. She was preceded in death by her husband Max on February 3, 1989; son Danny Knapp; and son-in-law Jerry Brock. She enjoyed playing Bingo and doing all types of crafting. She had a great sense of humor and was always willing to offer a helping hand to those who needed it. Visitation will be Sunday 3-9 PM with a Funeral Monday 11:00 AM, at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R., Madison Heights. Burial in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy.
