In all my years at hockey rinks, I’ve never seen a more dedicated fan than Laurie. She was always at Dylan’s games and went from end to end depending on what side of the ice he was on so she could see him better. She never took her eyes off him, and managed to stay composed even when all of us other hockey fans lost it because of a bad ref call (plenty of those!) She was always smiling, always said hello, always had positive things to say and we will miss her presence at the rink. Mazur family, we are so sorry for your loss and we are thankful we had the honor of knowing Laurie. ❤️ Prayers and hugs from the Bajis fam.
I was fortunate to know Laurie through Emil as we were classmates at OLSM. Over the years that I saw her at Orchard Lake events and class reunions I was always in awe of her strength and courage to not give in to MS. She is now in heaven watching over her family.
