My beloved cousin L.J. Growing up with you was both an honor and a pleasure at all times. You were an inspiration to me through your kindness, intelligence, keen sense of humor, but above all your Spirit. I will cherish our time together and countless fond moments we spent through the years every day, as you will be missed but not forgotten ❤️. - Your cousin Erik
I knew Larry Jr. (L.J.) from his birth. I worked for his grandfather, Mr. Eugene Kuhn, where he was the President since 8/31/1977 thru 05/2008. LJ would come into the office and head directly to his Grandfather's office. He was always so shy, however, when I attended one of his high school musicals, I was so shocked to see him in his "element." Over the years, I have been blessed to remain a part of the family to this day. My heart is truly aching for his parents and extended family; as well as myself. I am truly praying that our Heavenly Father will bless each one of us that Larry touched and blessed our lives with God's continued love, peace, strength and comfort. I am standing on the promises of God in His Word; "He promised never ever to leave His children alone. He promised to be with us until the end of the world. He promised to be our Shepherd and that He would not put no more on us than we can bare. Jesus promised that He would be returning to the Father but that He would not leave us comfortless because He promised to send His Precious Holy Spirit to guide us; comfort and keep us and to bring to our remembrance all that Jesus has taught us. I am standing on His precious promises because they are yea and Amen! God is a Promise Keeper and He will keep those that have chosen Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Diane and Larry, please continue to hold on to God's unchanging hand. I will continue to life you all before God in prayer.
I love you all, Shirley Booker.
Larry was a wonderful friend and musical colleague to me for many years, helping me again and again with complicated projects. He was also very supportive to my orchestra, the Philly POPS. A truly great human being. We will cherish his memory!

I will always cherish my time with Larry, or Mr. Larry as he was known at the Marquis Theatre. He music directed so many of my shows. He even took over a lead (with no notice) so the show could go on! I thank him for the mentorship and friendship he showed to our son Tony. He was an incredibly talented and warm hearted person who never failed to find time for me when I would unexpectedly show up in NYC. RIP my dear friend.
Mr. Lees taught our band class at University Liggett while our teacher was on maternity leave. I’m convinced he was the best teachers we could’ve gotten. He had an unforgettable personality; one that always lit up the classroom and motivated us to play. He promoted diligence inside and out of the classroom for the sake of fulfilling potential, not for meeting a quota. He will be dearly missed by us all. For the rest of our lives, we’ll be able to hear him in our music.
Mr. Leese was a great teacher when he was a long term substitute at University Liggett School. He was a great teacher and he will be missed.

My heartfelt condolences to Larry's family and friends. He was sweet, witty, kind, incredibly knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with at MTI over the years. He will be sorely missed and I hope his loved ones will find comfort in knowing how beloved he was by all who knew him. Barbara Becker
Larry,
This is too hard to believe. The entire MTI family and the authors we represent will miss working with you. We will miss your top-quality work, sharp intellect and sharper wit, and a smile that brightened every room. Looking at the photo on this page it is impossible to believe you are gone. Rest in peace.
