Larry Henry Burleson, age 81 of Hazel Park, Michigan, a resident for over 50 years, passed away on September 28, 2021 at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan. He was born on April 6, 1940 in Port Huron, Michigan.
Beloved Husband of Peggy Ann (maiden Best) Burleson, they were married for 61 years. Dear Father of Debra (Raymond) Napper, Diane (Michael) Horsfall and Larry (Lori) Burleson, II. Grandfather of 7 and Great-Grandfather of 6. Brother of Marykay Mehaffey and Tammy Burleson. He is pre-deceased by his parents, Jimmie and Grace Burleson and his grandson, Ryan Napper.
Larry belonged to the Lions Club of Hazel Park for 38 years. He served in the U. S. Navy for 21 years and was an active member of the V.F.W.
Memorial Donations, on behalf of Larry Burleson, can be made to the Hazel Park Lions Club.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 3rd from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm and the Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 4th at 11:00 am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block North of 13 Mile Road, West side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial at Christian Memorial Cemetery, Rochester Hills, Michigan.
