Kevin John Hermance, age 60 of Warren, Michigan and formerly of Ferndale, Michigan passed away on November 26, 2022 at Ascension St. John Hospital, Madison Heights, Michigan. He was born on June 22, 1962 in Detroit, Michigan.
Beloved Husband of Marguerite (Borowicz) Hermance. They were married on May 19, 1984 in Ferndale, Michigan. Dear Father of Kellie of Center Line, Michigan; Aaron of Center Line, Michigan and Mallory (Shayne) Hensel of Powell, Tennessee. Grandfather of Hunter Hensel and Archer Hansel of Powell, Tennessee. Brother of Bill (Linda) Hermance of Clarkston, Michigan; Greg (Donna) Hermance of Logansport, Michigan and April Hermance of Lapeer, Michigan. Brother in law of Arlene Daniel of Warren, Michigan; Danny (Linda) Borowicz of Roseville, Michigan; Rick (Betty) Borowicz of Warren, Michigan; Mitch (Kathy) Borowicz of Hazel Park, Michigan; Dawn (Nabel) Daman of Sterling Heights, Michigan and Bill Borowicz of Cheboygan, Michigan. Also survived by many Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews.
Kevin is predeceased by his parents, John and Dorothy Hermance and a sister, Dawn Miller.
Kevin retired from Coca Cola in 2021 where he worked for 24 years. Enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially grandsons, Hunter and Archer. He enjoyed cooking and competing in Chili Cookoffs and sharing what he made with everyone. He never met a stranger, even in line at Kroger. Always kept in touch with everyone even as far back as elementary school. Liked to host get-togethers with old pals especially if it involved cooking and eating. Loved his family dearly. Enjoyed teaching his kids about many things from using tools to repairing anything so they would be self sufficient as adults. Never missed an opportunity to moon his kids or anyone else for that matter. Enjoyed traveling and relaxing. He was a very hard worker, loved life and will be sorely missed by many.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 29th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Wednesday, November 30th from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm and the Funeral Service on Thursday, December 1st at 12:30 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial will take place at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.
