Kevin Roger Harvey's Obituary
HARVEY, Kevin Roger of Dallas, Texas, formerly of Michigan, passed away suddenly on June 27, 2024, at the age of 64. Kevin was born on August 19, 1959, in Detroit, Michigan to his late parents Roger Keith Harvey and Bobbie Nell (Drinkard) George.
Kevin is survived by his loving children Brandon Harvey and Alicia (Jonathan) McHugh. He was a proud grandfather to Ashton, Hailey, Lillian, Talia, and Jace, and a cherished brother to Kelli Harvey.
Kevin's life was marked by unwavering dedication and drive. From his early days delivering newspapers in his teens to his distinguished 44-year career with AT&T, Kevin exemplified the values of hard work and perseverance. Starting from the ground up, he embraced every challenge with determination, culminating in his role as Associate Director in the Office of the President for Corporate AT&T.
Kevin's true passion, however, lay in his connections with others. A natural people person, he had an innate ability to light up any room with his infectious smile and warm personality. His presence was felt deeply by all who knew him, leaving a lasting impression wherever he went.
In addition to his professional achievements, Kevin found joy in life's simple pleasures. He loved travel, shopping, attending concerts, mixing drinks and bowling, but above all, he cherished spending time with family and friends, near and far.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024, starting at 10:00am until the time of service at 1:00pm, at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R Road, Madison Heights, MI. Burial will take place at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.
