Ova, Pam and I worked with Ken for many years and he and Annette became more that friends, they became family. Ken was always dependable, faithful and just kind, Ova knew that Ken was the one that would handle things at the shop when we weren't there. He depended on Ken for so much because Ken cared about what he did like Ova. He meant a lot to the Haddix Family, he was more than an employee, he was our friend until he took his last breath. Pam and I enjoyed meeting up with him for breakfast or lunch on Saturdays at his favorite coney island. Annette worked on Saturdays so he would call or we would call and out to breakfast we would go. When Annette called to let me know that Ken was home with Hospice, I just saw Ken's name on the phone and thought it was him calling so we could all go out again. I said his name and Annette said "no, Sue this is Annette" and I knew that something was wrong. I was shocked to find out how ill he was and sad because I could not imagine Ken Funk not being around anymore. Ken, you will be missed by our family more than you know. Say hello to Jerry Spears, Ken Williams, Bobby Burton and Ova when you see them, maybe you all can build something together when you get there. We love you, Ken Funk. Sue, Pam and Tim Haddix
