Kenneth James Collick's Obituary
Kenneth James Collick, age 79, of Clawson, Michigan, formerly a long-time resident of Royal Oak, Michigan, passed away on February 21, 2020. He was born on July 8, 1940 in Highland Park, Michigan to George and Lyle Collick.
Beloved Husband of the late Eleanor “Ellie” Collick. Dear Father of Jim (Mary) Collick and Jeff (Michelle) Collick. Loving Grandfather of Jessica, Nikki, Ryan, James, Paige and Brendan. Great-Grandfather of Kira. He is survived by his siblings Garfield (Phyllis) Collick and Ellen (Leonard) Lucy.
He retired from Tepel Brothers Printing and has been a member of the Ferndale Elks Lodge #1588 for 24 years.
His hobbies included photography and watching the Detroit Red Wings and Tigers games. He and his wife, Ellie, hosted annual summer corn roast picnics at their Royal Oak home for many years. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with the Elks Lodge of Sorrows service at 7:00 pm, and Funeral Service to be held at 11:00 am on February 29th, at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block North of 13 Mile Road, West side of John R. Road), Madison Heights.
