A wonderful and dedicated Mother to her 5 Children that she cherished and called the “Loves of her Life.” Kathleen worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Beaumont Hospital, Childcare and Healthcare worker. She dedicated her life to taking care of others and taking care of her Grandchildren and children’s pets who she delighted in. Some of her favorite activities were attending Kensington Church, card club with her dearest friends from grade school, reading books, learning about history, trying new recipes, baking, holidays, parties, comedies and loved to laugh. Enjoyed many vacations with her children.
Everyone who knew or met Kathleen was instantly taken in and captivated with her exuberant character. She was so giving, graceful, smart and funny. Her positive, uplifting attitude got her through the tough times. She was a tough, and ever moving lady that had what her Finnish heritage called, “SISU.” Persevering strength and admiralty. She was one of a kind and will be sorely missed, remaining forever with her family in their hearts.
