Katherine J. Mittelstaedt, age 83 of Royal Oak, MI. She passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 of congestive heart failure at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, MI. Katherine was born on July 14, 1927 in Berkley, MI.
She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Oscar E. Mittelstaedt Jr.
She is the dear mother of Oscar E. (Jan) Mittelstaedt III, Mary Jo (Ron) Course, Edwin J. (Francine) Mittelstaedt and Katherine J. (Scott) Tasca. Loving grandmother of 9 and great-grandmother of one to be.
Visitation will be held on Saturday 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm and Sunday 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm (Rosary 7:00 pm) at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights, MI. Funeral will be on Monday 9:30 am Instate, 10:00 am Mass at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, 32340 Pierce St., Beverly Hills, MI. Burial Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield, MI. Memorial donations can be made to the Capuchin Center of Detroit or Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church.
