Karl Van Baak's Obituary
Karl Van Baak passed away peacefully on March 22, 2025, at the age of 72. He was born July 8, 1952, in Detroit, MI to parents Herman and Annie (Fisher) Van Baak.
Karl was the loving husband of the late Linda (Kaltz) Van Baak, beloved father of Adrianne (David) Abrams, and cherished grandfather (AKA Coppers) of Talia and Noah Abrams. He was also a brother, brother-in-law, uncle, nephew, god-father, friend, and so much more to so many.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 28, 2025, 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at Hopcroft Funeral Home in Madison Heights, MI. Visitation will resume Saturday, March 29 at 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am with burial following at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Twp.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Lung Association or Amyloidosis Foundation in Karl's name.
