Karen Louise Allor, age 81 of Fenton, Michigan, formerly of Houghton Lake and Hazel Park, Michigan passed away on February 16, 2024. She was born on April 20, 1942 in Highland Park, Michigan to George Addison Leiter and Mildred Elizabeth Mogk.
Beloved wife of the late Robert John Allor, Sr., who passed away on December 2, 2017. They were married on December 17, 1960 in Hazel Park. Loving mother of Renee Patrice (Sean) Morgan, Michael Patrick (Mariah) Allor, and the late Robert John Allor, Jr. Cherished grandmother of 10, great-grandmother of 9, and great-great-grandmother of 1.
Karen, known as the pie lady of Houghton Lake, loved to bake and cook for her family and friends. She loved to build puzzles, bowl, and work on model trains with her husband until he passed. She worked as a bartender and cook in Houghton Lake where she lived for almost 20 years. She was a lover of animals, especially her kitty, Shadow.
Visitation will begin on Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 9:00 am and will continue until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:30 am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial will take place at Oakview Cemetery, Royal Oak, Michigan.
