Julio Efrain Dominguez-Zavaleta SR's Obituary
Julio Efrain Dominguez Zavaleta SR., age 80, passed away October 25, 2017. Beloved husband of Elizabeth for over 55 years. Loving father of Julio Dominguez Jr, Diego (Lindsey) and Daniel. Dear Grandfather of Dr. Miguel Bonilla, Lauren and Anna Maria. Julio is survived by siblings Hugo, Carlos, Cesar, Lucho, Nelly and Julia. Julio is predeceased by his siblings Dario and David, and his parents Julio and Hermilinda. Julio loved spending time with family and with his Mason brothers at the lodge meetings. He also enjoyed watching South American and Italian Futbol. His favorite teams were Juventus, Torino and the Peruvian National Team. He enjoyed speaking in English, Spanish and Italian among other languages. He spent long hours at his desk doing arithmetic and calculus for fun. His favorite hobbies were teaching many of his relatives’ arithmetic, trig and calc. Most of all teaching his granddaughter Lauren many life lessons. His pass times were enjoyed with his eldest son, going to Vietnamese restaurants, enjoying their hot bowls of soup. He always talked about his family in Peru - Familia.
Visitation will be held Sunday, October 29th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm (7:00 pm Masonic Service) at Hopcroft Funeral Home, Madison Heights. The Funeral Service will be held Monday, October 30th at 11:00 am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R Road, Madison Heights (one block north of 13 Mile Road on the west side of John R Road.
