Juanita Muncy's Obituary
Juanita Muncy, age 87 of Madison Heights, Michigan passed away on June 3, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 29, 1935 in Four Mile, Kentucky to Robert and Lillie Mae Gambrell and is one of 14 children.
Loving Wife of Robert S. Muncy, Sr. with whom she celebrated 64 years of marriage. Dear Mother of Vickie (Michael) Pochron, Robert S. (MaryAnne) Muncy, Jr., Teresa (Gregory) Gale, Keith Muncy and Sandie (Brian) Maynard. Grandmother of 10 and Great-Grandmother of 7. Sister of Eugene Gambrell and predeceased by 12 brothers and sisters. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Juanita loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved gardening both her flower gardens and the vegetable gardens. She loved spending time in her beautiful backyard with friends, neighbors and family. She retired from Cleaning Crew Supervisor of Belanger Maintenance, Columbia Center, Troy, Michigan.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 8th from 9:00 am to 10:30 am with the Funeral Service at 10:30 am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan.
