Joyce Marie Vincent's Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Marie Vincent, who left us on February 18, 2026, at the age of 87. Joyce was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, to Orville and Emelda Dufour.
She was a cherished mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many. Known for her kindheartedness and warm, welcoming personality, Joyce devoted her life to her family and friends. In addition to spending time with loved ones, Joyce found immense joy in traveling, bowling, scrapbooking, gardening, and golfing.
For many years, Joyce was an active member of the Red Hat Society, where she found companionship and lasting friendships. Her love of travel took her many places—Mexico, on multiple cruises, a United States road trip, and most recently on a family trip to Disney.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Emelda Dufour; her husband, William Vincent; her grandson, Ryan McCrystal; her sister, Barbara Kowalski; and her dear companion, Al Piotrowski.
Joyce’s legacy lives on through her family. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Paul (Sonya) Marvin and Tom (Debbie) Marvin; and her daughter, Lisa (Mike) McCrystal.
Known affectionately as “Granny” and “Gigi,” she adored her 12 grandchildren—John, Amy, Nick, Amie, Steve, Alex, Ashley, Paul, Amanda, Stella, Kerry, and Nina—and her six great-grandchildren: Milo, Dalilah, Ruby, Logan, Kyle Jr., and Molly.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 20th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm and the Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 21st at 11:00 am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial will be at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.
