Joy Elizabeth Kincaid, age 98 years of Troy, Michigan passed away on April 10, 2026 at Belmar Oakland, Troy. She was born on April 9, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan to John and Alice Stevens.
Beloved Wife of the late Quillie Kincaid. Dear Mother of Neal (Joyce) Kincaid, John (Loretta) Kincaid, Dawna (David) Gatwood, David (Carol) Kincaid and the late Gary (Surviving Brenda) Kincaid. Grandmother of 12, Great-Grandmother of 19 and many Great-Great-Grandchildren. Joy is predeceased by her 2 brothers. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Joy was devoted to her family. She enjoyed watching her Detroit sports teams. She also enjoyed playing bingo and bowling.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 13th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm and the Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 14th at 11:00 am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. The burial will be at Christian Memorial Cemetery, Rochester Hills, Michigan.
