Joy Bernice Harper's Obituary
Joy Bernice Harper, age 99, passed away August 3, 2020 in Hazel Park, Michigan where she had been a resident since 1943. She was born April 26, 1921 to Clare and Alice Ballard in Marlette, Michigan.
Beloved wife of the late Jack. Dear mother of Roxann Lockhart, Jack (Deborah) Harper, Amy (Tim) Schultz and Beth (Jim) Matt. Grandmother to seven and great grandmother to 14.
She had been a member of the Eastern Star.
Visitation Wednesday, August 5th from 3-9 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R Road, Madison Heights, MI 48071 (one block north of 13 Mile Road on the west side of John R Road). Instate Thursday, August 6th from 10 am until the time of the service at 11 am at Bethany Church of God, 11600 Clinton River Road, Sterling Heights 48313. Burial at White Chapel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Bethany Church of God or Hospice of Michigan.
