I've known Josh since very early elementary. I grew up beside him and graduated with him. We both were in band together too. We weren't super close but, we always checked in on eachother, expecially after graduation. Josh always had the most beautiful outtakes about life when we talked. And he had one of the most genuine and kindest souls I've met. He always chose to be kind and all of the conversations we had were only ever filled with that kindness. He was genuinely a wonderful and beautiful soul. The last time Josh and I talked was on my birthday. I remember when I got a happy birthday text from him and it made me smile. I thanked him and he said we would talk again soon. Rest in peace Josh ❤️
God has called you home - Among the angels to roam
Dear Joshua,
You have gone to a place that we cannot see
And in our hearts you will forever be
For God will call all of us home some day
We do not know when for we have no say
And though your life had barely begun
You cherished each day and found ways of fun
For you came into this world so full of joy
And grew into a young man from that little boy
The smile on your face in pictures you did take
Are now cherished memories you did make
Today we are sad and will shed a few tears
May you help us, guide us and calm our fears
Although we despair in this our time of sorrow
May you watch over us for every tomorrow
All our love…

Although I never had the pleasure of meeting Josh in person, I have been talking to him online frequently for the last 5-6 years and I’m happy to call him one of my closest friends. I’ll always remember the long nights of us playing games together and talking about anything that might cross our minds. Although we never met he will always have a special place in my heart and will be remembered by his strong will and lovable personality.
Rest In Peace my friend
Praying that these bible verses will bring comfort and peace to Josh’s loved ones in their time of grief. With love, Jason, Laura, Megan & Shaun Brown
“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.
Isaiah: 41:10, 13”
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
Joshua 1:9“
How I tried to rock you when you were born. But you would have no part of it! Now you are in the arms of the one who will rock you for all time. I remember when you could run and walk. How you played on the slip and slide in our yard. I remember you riding your push and go little car. Going to GG's and playing with Uncle Steve. Hanging from his bed with all his supports. Now you are in heaven with Uncle Phil, Uncle Jerry, and Uncle Steve. Imagine you are running with them. Wrestling with them. Jumping with them. Happy and in the Light forever. I love you Josh will miss you forever. Tears of missing you and for mom and dad and Amanda and Aaron especially. Look down and watch over us while holding Jesus' hand. Love Nana and Pop.
Wow i have known Josh since freshmen year of high school and he was an awesome kid. My sincere condolences go out to his family. RIP Josh you will be dearly missed.😥😥😥😥
My God keep your hearts lifted remembering all the special moments shared and keeping your family in prayer Kimberly Lee and family 💐
My heart breaks for you and the loss of Joshua. It heals in the knowledge of the faith of our Lord. That he is free of the issues that held him down, and is a strong young man standing beside our Saviour praising his glory. Singing, Dancing, walking the golden streets and smiling the whole time. This life is not forever. God has a plan and a reason it is a mystery to us, but a part of his plan. Its not the time you'll miss ...Its the time you had. 20 amazing years. The things you learned, the memories you have, will be with you forever. One day you'll be reunited. Josh will be standing with open arms welcoming you home.
God bless your family in this time of loss and understanding.
Love, Viva McIlnay and Donna McCullough
