Josephine Kaczor's Obituary
Age 94, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2009. Loving mother of Betty (Bud-deceased) Odom, Frances (John) Parkinson, Toni (Dave) Lesinski, and Maryann (Steve) West. Born in Natrona, PA to Chester and Ann Robaczynski. Married to Frank Rochowiak and Max Kaczor, both deceased. Sister of Regina Yirovec, Matt Robaczynski, Henrietta Bernacki, and Helen Lisowski, all deceased before her. Dear Grandmother of Robbie, Terry, Ellen, Susan, Natalie, Rick, David, Joshua, Nicole, Trevor, and Leah. “Great Groovy Granny” (great) to Rebecca, Robert, Bradley, Cody, Adam, Samantha, Raymond, Kimberly, Kayla, and Rusty. Great Great Grandmother of Jadyn and Tylar. Aunt to two nephews and five nieces. Jean was also a loyal friend to so many people - all who remember her sweet personality and bright smile. Large Family gatherings were a joy to her and the home she lived in for 60 years in Hazel Park was open to everyone. She lived a complete life of hard work, balanced with her devout faith, love of crocheting, bowling, playing cards, going “up north”, and truly enjoying music which could always stir her light feet into a dance. Jean will be missed forever by us all and will remain in a good warm spot of our hearts. Visitation Sunday 2-9 pm, rosary at 7 pm, at the Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights. Funeral Monday, 9:30 am Instate followed by a 10 am Mass, at St. Mary Magdalen Church, Hazel Park. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to Beaumont Hospice.
