Josephine Gulu's Obituary
Josephine Marie Gulu, age 88, of Hazel Park, passed away on July 13, 2010. She was born November 10, 1921 in Detroit. Dearest wife of the late Michael (2001). Beloved mother of Gloria (Daniel) Monaghan, Bonnie (David) Sisson, Alice (Andy) Simonow, Cristine Gulu, William (Michelle) Gulu, James (Sharon) Gulu, and the late Michael Gulu III. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, and 1 brother. She belonged to the St. Mary Magdalen Altar Society, and liked gardening. Visitation Friday 3-9 pm, at the Hopcroft Funeral Home, 23919 John R. Road, Hazel Park, MI. The funeral will be held Saturday, at St. Mary Magdalen Church, Hazel Park, with visitation from 9:30 am until time of funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Burial in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy. Family suggest donations, in lieu of flowers, to the University of Michigan Cancer Center.
