Joseph Edward Burleson, age 53 of Detroit, Michigan passed away on August 6, 2013 at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, Michigan. He was born on September 21, 1959 in Detroit, Michigan.
Beloved Husband of Lisa (nee Pierce) Burleson. Father of Amanda and Elizabeth. Grandfather of Jaylin, Eric and Ethan. Son of Hazel Burleson and the late Nevelle Burleson. Brother of Ellen Adams of Arkansas, Rhonda Palmiter of Michigan and Thomas Burleson of Georgia. Uncle of several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Joseph is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Joseph Sr. and Lula Burleson and his maternal grandparents, Foster and Maggie Henson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 11th from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 23919 John R. Road, Hazel Park, Michigan.
