John William Fermoyle's Obituary
John W. “Jack” Fermoyle, 77, longtime resident of Clawson. February 22, 2008. John passed away peacefully at his home after a long battle with prostate cancer. He was predeceased by his wife of 43 years, Patricia (Landry). Beloved husband of ten years to Stella. Dearest father of Maureen (Nancy Langel), Janet (Larry) Tackett, Karen (fiancee Rhett Billings) Bentley, Daniel, Brian (Jackie) and David (fiancee Melissa Konietzko). He was loved by his four grandchildren, Megan Tackett, Brandon Tackett, Conor Fermoyle and Kaylee Fermoyle. He will be sorely missed by his three brothers, Ken (Liz), Bob (Jan) and Don (Betty) and several nieces and nephews, stepson, Frank Vivio, step-grandsons, Mario, Carlo and Angelo. Also dear brother in law of John and Sue Toto. John “Jack” was very close with many long time friends and he will not be forgotten. John was retired from Ford Motor Company for 17 years after a long career as a wood pattern maker. In his spare time in retirement, he was known for his woodworking skills. Many family members and friends were recipients of his work in the form of clocks, wooden toy horses and planter boxes. Memorial visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 25, 2008 from 4-9 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R., Madison Heights. Funeral Mass (time pending) at Guardian Angels Church in Clawson, on February 26, 2008. Donations preferred to William Beaumont Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
