John Pardy's Obituary
John Pardy, age 93, of Madison Heights, passed away on January 23, 2011. He was born September 7, 1917 in Nova Scotia Canada. Beloved husband of the late Velva for almost 60 years. Dear brother of Roy Pardy and Harold (Dorothy) Pardy. Also survived by his friend and caregiver for 15 years Shelly Parker. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, where he received numerous medals and decorations. Visitation Thursday, 2-8 pm, with the funeral Friday at 11 am, at the Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R Road, Madison Heights. Burial in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.
