John Paquette's Obituary
Beloved husband of the late Betty Gail Paquette, who died in 1996. Dear father of Stephen Charles (Susan) Paquette of Fort Collins, Colorado, and Rita Mortier of Port Huron. Loving Grandfather of Keith (Kimberly) Mortier, Lisa (Gerard) Reindeau, and Ann Marie (Matt) Littke and great grandfather of 7. Brother of Paul (Margaret) Paquette and Elaine (Pete) Smith. Mr. Paquette was a U.S. Army Sergeant during WWII, stationed in Alaska. He graduated from Hazel Park High School. Retired from Burroughs Corp in 1978 after 31 years of service as a Machinist. He received an award from Boy Scouts of America for 25 years as a Scout Master for Troop #1208. He wintered in Edinburg, TX, since 1980. He was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in South Lyon. There he volunteered with the Regional Medical Center Auxiliary and the Driscoll Children’s Clinic. Visitation Tuesday 3-9 PM, at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 23919 John R., Hazel Park. Funeral Wednesday 10:30 AM in state, 11:00 AM Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 830 S. Lafayette, South Lyon. Burial in Oakland Hills Memorial Cemetery, Novi
