John C. Landreau, age 85 of Sterling Heights, Mich passed away July 7, 2013 in Troy, Mich. He was born October 9, 1927 in Detroit, Mich.
Husband of Mary for 60 years. Father of Janetta (David) Bowman, Cathy (Jim) Helhowski, Theresa (Robert) Dudek and John P. Landreau. Grandfather of Sheila Schneider, Nicole Carluccio, Eric Bowman, Danielle Dudek, Laura Bruno, Thomas Landreau, Colleen Dudek, Rachel Taylor and the late Nicholas Helhowski. Great-grandfather of 7. Brother of Mary Krug. Uncle of many nieces and nephews and dear brother in law of many.
Proceeded in death by his parents, Henry and Janetta Landreau, sisters; Bernadine Johnson, Leola Krug and Arline Landreau.
Visitation Saturday 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm with services at 7:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights, Mich. Donations may be made to the family.
