LAIGHT, JOHN THOMAS, Age 91 of Royal Oak died April 21, 2009. Beloved husband of Maxine for 60 years. Loving Father of Gary (the late Melva) and Dawn (Harold) Burch. Dearest grandfather of Robert, Heather, Matthew, Kevin, and Christopher; and great grandfather of Trevor and Alivia. Uncle of Patricia White. He retired as a baker in 1975 from Koepplinger’s Bakery. After retirement, he worked as a Madison Heights crossing guard. He enjoyed bowling and gardening. Visitation Friday 3-9 pm with the funeral Saturday at 10:30 am at the Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R Rd, Madison Heights. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Detroit.
