John D. Kaminski, age 89 of Hazel Park, Michigan passed away on September 18, 2024 at Corewell Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan. He was born on November 22, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan to Anthony and Frances Kaminski.
Beloved Husband of the late Eva Jean Kaminski. Dear Father of Debbie Krause, Marie (Dan) McDonald and the late Linda Danhausen. Grandfather of Jess (Mark DeHate, Jr.) Krause, Heather (Steve) Bertalan, Nancy (Josh) Osmialowski, Stacy Danhausen and Megan McDonald. Great-Grandfather of John Michael Osmialowski and Ryker John Walters. John is predeceased by his 2 sisters and 6 brothers. Also survived by many extended family members and friends.
He proudly served in the U. S. Marine Corp. He enjoyed his daughters and granddaughters many activities. He enjoyed bowling and fishing.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 23rd from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with additional visitation on Tuesday, September 24th from 10:00 am – 11:-00 am. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 24th at 11:00 am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial will be at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Michigan.
