John William Green's Obituary
John William Green, died unexpectedly on January 10, 2015 at the age of 67 while at home in Texas.
John is survived by his mother, Velma Matthews; his daughter, Danielle Buser, son-in-law Dennis Buser, and his grandchildren, Carter and Sydney; his many loved siblings, Ann Spinek, Richard Green (Kathy), Irene Norman (Ted Norman), Barbara Dalton, Thomas Edwards (Mary Lou), Joseph Edwards (Betty), Michael Edwards, Barb Cahoon (Steve), and Kathy Bissette; his close friend Bonnie Davis. He is predeceased by his father, Joseph Green and stepfather Earl Matthews.
John was born in St. Clair, Michigan on October 24, 1947.
John began his construction career at 17 with John Carlo in Ubly, MI. His work eventually took him to Texas where he then moved on to Mario Sinacola and Sons. One of his proud achievements was working the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium. In addition, John was also the proud owner of a restaurant called Vino’s for 22 years. He enjoyed life from playing euchre to scuba trips with family to NASCAR races and fishing trips with friends. While out of state, he never missed a grandchild’s birthday, Christmas or his mother’s Thanksgiving dinner. His most memorable role was as Grandpa Santa to his beloved Carter and Sydney. He has touched and will be greatly missed by many.
