I just saw John's death notice in the paper tonight, and wanted to let his family know that John was a great guy and will truly be missed. I haven't seen John in years, but we worked together in Birmingham for quite a few years and I remember him fondly. I wish I would have known about the visitation on Friday. Just wanted to let you know how sorry I am for your loss.

John was our mail carrier. We wanted to express our deepest sympathies to the Brewer family. Never a day would pass, no matter how good or bad the weather was, that John would always find the time to say hi or chat a minute. Such a kind man. We would always give him homemade pierogies for the holidays to enjoy. He will be missed, but always in our thoughts and prayers.
Forever,

Dear Pam,
It broke my heart to hear about Johnnie. We will never forget him. I'm sorry I couldn't make it to visitation. Donna just had knee replacement surgery and I would have come but, I just found out at 7:30 this evening not enough time to make it up there. Just know that we're thinking of you in your time of sorrow and that Johnnie was one of the best friends you could ask for.
With all our Love and Sympathy,
Danny and Donna Bray
Mike and I had the pleasure of becoming friends with John when we all worked together. He was truely a kind and gentle person who worked hard and was always helpful. He always spoke lovingly about Pam, his family and Kentucky. When we decided to move in together before we got married, we had a bad snow storm the day of the move. We got the U-haul stuck, just knew no one would show up to help, and were ready to forget it, but John and some other friends showed up anyway and helped us move and never complained. We said, "That's how how know who your friends really are." Rest in peace John, you will be missed by many.
