John Bollan was one of the nicest guys I have every known. I got to know John as I worked for Standard Federal for many years and financed several of Bollan's properties. I can say that after 30 years in the business he was one of the few I would ever consider building a home with. He took pride in his houses and was always the girl's in the office's favorites when he would complain "Where the hell are the ash trays? At First Federal they even light your smokes for you.!" He's probably up there making suggestions to St Joseph.

We were blessed to have John as a friend and neighbor for almost 50 years. John, Mary, Mike and I had many fun times together over the years. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mary and the entire Bollan family at this difficult time.
