John Edward Antushevich, age 76 of Madison Heights, Michigan passed away on January 10, 2026 at Corewell Health Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. He was born on December 5, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan to Mike and Dolores Antushevich.
Beloved husband of the late Patricia Antushevich. Loving father of Michael (Cheryl) Antushevich and Kelly (Michael) Tencza. Cherished grandfather of Noel (Nate) Wright, Michael (Stephanie) Antushevich, Troy (Katie) Antushevich, Gavin Tencza, Reagan Tencza, and Caiden Tencza. Great-grandfather of Phipps, Harrison and Adeline. Brother of Michael (Patricia) Antushevich. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place on Friday, January 16th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block N. of 13 Mile Road, west side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations can be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
