Jessie D. Dunlop, age 94 of Holly, Michigan, and former longtime resident of Madison Heights, passed away on June 1, 2024 at her home. She was born on March 18, 1930 in Cypress Inn, Tennessee, to Jesse and Mary Wright.
Beloved wife of the late Wallace “Al” Dunlop. Dear Mother of Beverly (the late Robert) Somers, Kurt (Robin) Dunlop, and the late Karl (who is survived by Janine) Dunlop. Cherished Grandmother of Scott (Hassie) Harder, Jessica (Joe) Ward, Melinda Dunlop, Elissa Gehringer, Craig (Laura) Dunlop, and Jennifer (Mohan) Gautam. Great-grandmother of 8 great-grandchildren.
Jessie was a 50 year member of Faith Apostolic Church in Troy, Michigan.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 5th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Instate will begin at 10:00 am and will continue until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 6th, at Faith Apostolic Church, located at 6710 Crooks Road, Troy, Michigan 48098. Burial will take place at White Chapel Cemetery.
