Jane Florence Ochalek, age 93 of Madison Heights, passed away February 1, 2017. She was born November 30, 1923 to Francis and Julia Mackowski in Wayne County, Michigan.
Beloved wife of the late Walter. Dear mother of the late Cheryl Baker, Beth (the late Jay) Ackerson, Alan (Susan) Ochalek, Dale Ochalek, Tim (the late Dale Ann), Jill Ochalek, Walter (Kerry) Ochalek, and Andrea Jeffrey. Grandmother of 16, great grandmother of 20, and great great grandmother of 5. Sister of Marie Daniel and predeceased by her sisters Ann Flores and Irene Mioduszewski. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 3 to 9 pm (Rosary at 7:00 pm) at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R Road, Madison Heights (one block north of 13 Mile Road on the west side of John R Road). Friday, February 3, 2017, Instate at 10:00 am and Mass at 10:30 am at Guardian Angels Church, 581 E. 14 Mile Rd, Clawson, MI 48017. Donations in memory of Jane may be made to Alzheimer’s, St. Jude, the Kidney Foundation or the American Lung Association.
