JAMES R. BROGAN, age 74, of Hazel Park for over 50 years, pasted away on 6-17-12. He was born in Detroit, Aug 18, 1937. He has been married to his beloved wife Paula for almost 53 years. Loving father of Cheryl (Ed) Piec, Grandfather of James, Alex and Melissa Piec, brother of Shirley Freeman. He retired from the State of Michigan, Dept. of Labor - Discrimination Division, and a member of St. Mary Magdalen Parish; he enjoyed playing golf, and spending time with his grandchildren. Visitation: Wed. 3-9, at the Hopcroft Funeral Home, 23919 John R. Road, Hazel Park; Service: Thursday, Instate 9:30 AM, followed by 10:00 AM Mass at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Hazel Park
