Jamar Trumell Johnson's Obituary
Jamar Trumell Johnson, age 41, passed away on April 28th, 2020, at his home in Ferndale, Michigan.
Jamar will be forever remembered and loved by his wife, Angela Johnson; Mother, Charna Johnson; Dad and stepmother, Jesse and Sabra Brown; aunts, uncles and many close cousins, who were more like brothers and sisters.
Jamar and his wife, Angela shared 21 years together. They became parents to their two dogs Achilles, 12 and Barak, 11. Jamar was a self-proclaimed “Top Chef.” He was known as the life of the party, and for his karaoke rendition of Tennessee Whiskey.
Jamar’s love for sports was known by many. He grew up playing football and was the quarterback for Ferndale and Oak Park High School. His love for sports overflowed into his wardrobe, as he loved to collect jerseys and gym shoes.
Jamar will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
Funeral services will be private, officiated by Pastor Gurney Revels.
