Jackie Mae Prescott, age 63 of Hazel Park, Michigan passed away on August 29, 2023 at Ascension Macomb Oakland Hospital, Madison Heights, Michigan. She was born on March 23, 1960 in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Mother of Alexander Prescott and Christopher Prescott. Daughter of Donald Herring and pre-deceased by her mother, Maybell Herring. Grandmother of Aiden Prescott. Sister of Donna Lambert and pre-deceased by her brother, Wayne Herring.
Jackie loved nature and dragonflies. She had pugs as her longtime animal companions, Louise and Louie. She was an avid collector of sentimental keepsakes with cobalt blue being her favorite color. She was a long-standing member of the Ferndale Free Methodist church family and was deeply involved with the women’s ministry and vacation bible school programs while she was able to be. Well known in the community, her porch was an open meeting spot for friends and family both.
Memorial services for Jackie will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 11am to 1pm at Ferndale Free Methodist Church which is located at 1950 Woodward Heights, Ferndale, MI 48220
