Age 87, passed away on 2/05/08. Loving wife of the late Daniel Harrington. Loving mother of the late Sheila Crockett. Dearest sister of Theresa Buglione, and the late Henry Borkowski, Wanda Moore, and Catherine Zatsick. Grandmother of Steven, Carrie, Michael and David, Great grandmother to five, and many nieces and nephews. Dearest friend of Eleanor Opre. Irene served in the WACS during WW II . She worked at the GM headquarters in Detroit, the Tank Arsenal Plant in Warren, and the Federal Government. Irene enjoyed golfing, Notre Dame football, travel, home decorating, music and ballroom dancing. Vistiation and Memorial Service begin at 10 a.m., Saturday, Service at 11 a.m., at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights, MI. Burial with honor guard at Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak.
