Irene Foskett's Obituary
Beloved wife of 52 years of the late Robert (1995). Dear mother of Ted (Betty) Foskett, Carol (Jack) Willey, Sharon Foskett, Sue (Ron) Anderson, and Bill (Debra) Foskett. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren, and her sister Lucille Solt. She is predeceased by a granddaughter and a great grandson.
Mrs. Foskett was a very active member of the 1st United Methodist Church in Hazel Park since 1956 and managed the Church’s Susanna Resale Shop. She also volunteered at William Beaumont Hospital for many years, enjoyed gardening, and was a past president of the Hazel Park PTA. Mrs. Foskett was always very involved in activities within her community, especially concerning babies, whether it was her grandchildren or great grandchildren or a neighbors babies, they always brought a smile to her face.
Visitation Wednesday 3:30 to 9 pm at the Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights. The funeral will be Thursday at the 1st United Methodist Church, 315 E. Nine Mile Rd, Hazel Park, 10:30 am Instate followed by a 11:30 am Service. Burial in Christian Memorial Cemetery, Rochester Hills.
