Helen West's Obituary
Helen West, 86, a 63-year Hazel Park resident, died March 26, 2008, at her home. She was born March 19, 1922, in Detroit. Mrs. West will be remembered by her family as a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Dianne (Calvin) Wilkinson of Royal Oak and David West of Hazel Park; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister Marguerite Scussel. She was predeceased by her husband, Franklin West; and son Thomas West. Visitation will be held Sunday 3-9pm and the funeral service will be Monday, 11am at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 23919 John R., Hazel Park. Burial will be at Roseland Park Cemetery.
