Helen Garstka, age 88 of Hazel Park, Michigan passed away on January 22, 2012 at her home. She was born on February 24, 1923 in Detroit, Michigan.
Helen is the mother of Patricia Fry and the late Mary Ann Kuslak. Grandmother of Annie Sharpe, Andrew Thompson and Chris Fry. Great-grandmother of Ted Hess, Nathan Mosher, Sarah Thompson and Cydney Fry.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 23919 John R. Road, Hazel Park, Michigan. Funeral Service on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Detroit, Michigan. Memorial may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or the Michigan Humane Society.
