Hallie Groves' Obituary
Hallie L. Groves, age 89, of White Lake and formerly of Milford and Hazel Park; passed away September 15, 2011. She was born February 17, 1922 in Bevier County, Kentucky. Beloved wife of the late Thomas (2007). Loving Mother of Cheryl (John) Hines and Judith (Chuck) Sova. Dear grandmother of Shannon (Ken) Huehlefeld, and Derek and Keith Sova. She is predeceased by her brothers Ellis, Euralee, Earl Furguson and Foley Piper, and sister Thelma Wilkerson. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Hazel Park. The family gives special Thanks to the staff at Haworth Center and Seasons Hospice for their loving care. Visitation Sunday 2-9 pm, with the funeral Monday at 11 am, at the Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial in Oakview Cemetery, Royal Oak. Donations can be made to either the Lupus Alliance of America or the Alzheimer’s Association.
