Gustie J. Peklo's Obituary
GUSTIE(GUS)J.PEKLO passed peacefully to eternal life at the age of 94 years old on November 28, 2014.
He is survived by his loving wife Leona of 57 years. Proud father of Andrew (Diane), Elizabeth (Mike) Mulkerrin and Martin (Laurie). Grandfather of 7. An MSU graduate, active in the Knights of Columbus, Volunteer for the Missionary of Charities and Capuchin Soup Kitchen in Detroit. He served his country in WWII in the Calvary. He retired from Chevrolet Gear and Axle after over 30 years of service.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 12, 2014 from 3pm to 8pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, Madison Heights Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 13, 2014 at St. Vincent Ferrer Church in Madison Heights, MI, 10:30am Instate until the time of Mass at 11am. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Missionary of Charities are appreciated. Private committal service will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI on December 22, 2014
