Gregory "MOE" Paul Richardson's Obituary
Gregory “Moe” Paul Richardson, 71, of Ferndale, MI passed away peacefully on February 14, 2021 at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak.
Moe proudly served as a Marine SGT in the Vietnam War. He retired from Chrysler after 46 years as a Skilled Trades Tool and Die welder. After retirement Moe and his wife Anita spent their time together at their vacation home in Port Austin, MI. Moe was a proud member of VFW (Highland Park), Knight of Colombus (Father Cotter), American Legion (Port Austin), UAW, and a Detroit Pershing Alumni.
Moe is survived by his wife of 47 years Anita. Children- Jennifer (Chris), Andy (April), Candi (Maurice), Greg (Dana), Kati (Lonnie). Grandchildren - Ramoe (Felisha), Kory, Ryan (Taylor), Antwain, Eric-Gee, Chuckie, Jacob, Samantha, Justin, Brad, Sammi-Nae, Lonnie-Dubbz, Evan and AJ. Great-Grandchildren- Nathan, Andrew, Kylee, Sophia, Amari. Also Survived by Sister Bridgette, Brother Jimmy and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 18th from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Visitation will resume on Friday, February 19th from 10:00 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 12:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road (1 block North of 13 Mile Road, West side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI.
