Our Mother LOVED her family so much. She always made everyone around her feel special.
She was an elegant ballroom dancer and had the most beautiful gowns. The Halloween dances were her favorite. All her costumes were hand made by her daughter-in-law or daughter and she usually won 1st prize.
Our summers growing up were always at the family cottage. Not only did she teach us how to swim and dive, she also made sure all the cousins knew how to as well. Mom loved to fish with us and Dad.
Mom’s love of sports guaranteed her children loving and playing them too. She taxied us to swim and track meets, and baseball, basketball, football, softball, and volleyball games.
Every Tuesday was mother/daughter day for the movies, lunch and shopping. She so loved the big screen.
Mom was also excellent at baking. She always loved to share with family and friends at her apartment complex.
Her family will remember her for being a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and her loving nature.
Mom was raised a Catholic and passed her love of Jesus on to all of us.
A Memorial Service will be arranged at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
