Glenn and I became great friends right from when we met in high school and continued for many years after. I have many happy memories of our time together and think of our friendship as one of the greatest friendships of my life. I loved Glenn about as much as anyone can love a friend and I will miss him forever.
Say Hi to Cansler for me Glenner!
I was so saddened to hear of Glenn's passing. He was such a great guy, always happy to see you with a smile and a hug! I have some wonderful high school memories with Glenn as we were in drama together. Just the other day I ran across several pictures with him in them. Glenn was a part of my wonderful high school experience and will forever be remembered.
Glenn and I go all the way back..I really can't remember a time I didn't know him. We were all welcome with opened arms by Mom Mcturner and her loving ways rubbed off on Glenn. A true gentle giant! Miles never have come between us as we talk as much as possible. The best man in my wedding..My son Neil's godfather..The best friend I have ever had!! I'll keep you alive in me forever as you and I will never stop be best friends! I Love You Glenn! I'll see you again my friend!! REST IN PEACE GLENN!!
Glenn was a genuine GREAT guy. Never a bad word about anybody. Truly one of the coolest of the "Drama Guys" at HPHS. I looked forward to running into him at the annual HP Memorial Day Picnic. (AKA Beer Tent) To his family, all my thoughts and prayers. Please know He was a good man who will be missed by many, many. Rusty Charlie, you're gone too soon.
To the family of Glenn--I am so sorry to hear this news. I am an old friend from Hazel Park. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
I'm so sorry to hear of Glenns' passing, and pray for his family during these difficult times. I met Glenn in the 7th grade and hold wonderfully fond memories of him very close to my heart. You'll truly be missed. With my deepest sympathy, Kim Leshan-Lathon
For Glenn's Family and Friends After Glw I’d like the memory of me To be a happy one. I’d like to leave an after glow Of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo Whispering softly down the ways, Of happy times and laughing times And bright and sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve, To dry before the sun. It’s happy memories that I leave When life is done.
Glenn was a Good Man never an Ill word towards anyone, We spent many afternoons & nights playing euchre & just goofn off back in the day. He sounded happy just a couple days ago while chatting with him online. Glenn you will be remembered with a smile and a glass held high. Rest well my friend we will see you when its time. Until then say hello to those who you have found again from days gone by.
Should I start from elementary school,Junior H.S.,Senior H.S. or just at "Ma" McTurners home. Glenn and his family were a big influence to all our friends in Hazel Park. Our deepest sympothy to all family and friends of the McTurners. Glenn you never slowed down. We all know if there was a party you would be there someone needed something you would be there. You always spoke highly of everyone that you spoke of and treated everyone as family. Your mother has always been proud of each of her children,as yours should be of you. Your up bringing and the person I know of Glenn McTurner is no doubt a person I am personally proud to say "He was a friend of mine". Brother I will see you in next world, but I may be late.
